CSAM: THE Safety Conference is an annual two-day conference held at the RBC Convention Centre. Its goal is to raise participants' safety knowledge, best practises, leadership, and management abilities, as well as to recognise the significance of workplace safety.
Every year, CSAM: THE Safety Conference, which attracts more than 1500 registrants, 100+ exhibitors, 65+ corporate sponsors, and 50+ instructors from all across North America, offers 2500 training certificates. Visit the official website to learn more.
The Safety Conference (CSAM) seeks to reduce accidents, injuries, and property loss at work. The conference offers useful training and resources to help make your workplace safer, and many of the two-day, one-day, and half-day sessions count towards NCSO® and NHSATM. Additionally, they provide specific leadership training to support the top-down implementation of a safety culture.
Participants at the conference travel from all across America to take advantage of everything it has to offer:
All attendees receive a complimentary breakfast, drinks during breaks, and a catered lunch. Throughout the conference, attendees have the chance to win spot prizes. One grand prize will be given away at random to a lucky person who finishes and submits a conference assessment.
Bit Space Development Ltd. was happy to sponsor this event as a Silver sponsor. By doing so, we were able to set up a double booth at the conference to display our virtual and augmented reality technologies, while educating individuals on how immersive technologies are re-shaping the construction safety industry.
During the event, BSD was focusing on their construction training and innovative experiences that lead to a safer and more efficient work environment. The playable Virtual Reality demo's on display were Chainsaw VR, Mining VR, and Power Tools VR.
Bit Space's VR Safety platform had a lot of interest, specifically in our ability to capture a construction worksite with 360 panoramic cameras and turn their worksite into a digital training and tour simulation that can be accessed through a computer or VR headset.
The Tilt 5 was also being displayed, showcasing the early capabilities of augmented reality holographic technology.
"The CSAM safety conference is one of the most important conferences in our province for sharing knowledge, connecting with our community, and gaining insights into the future. The BSD team loves meeting people from across the prairies at the CSAM conference and the impact of the conference is immediately felt in the industry."
- Dan Blair, CEO of Bit Space Development Ltd.
